OkCupid is the Only Major Dating Site Without Two-Factor Authentication, and Users are Paying the Price

The Infinite Brief
OkCupid is the only one of the major dating sites, such as Match, PlentyOfFish, Zoosk, Badoo, JDate, and eHarmony, that does not use two-factor authentication to protect its users.

Multiple OkCupid users recently reached out to TechCrunch claiming that their accounts had been hacked and the passwords changed.

The hacker even changed their email addresses on file, preventing him from resetting his password.

OkCupid didn’t send an email to confirm the address change — it just blindly accepted the change.
