Facebook is Rolling Out Mandatory Facial Recognition-Based Identity Verification

The Infinite Brief
Facebook is working on Facial Recognition-based identity verification system which asks users to take a video selfie while looking in different directions.

The prompt explicitly promises that no one else will see the video and that it will be deleted 30 days after the confirmation.

Facebook states that the mandatory video selfie is used to “confirm your identity and verify that you’re a real person.”
