Mozilla is Implementing California’s New Data Privacy Law for All Users

The Infinite Brief
With the passage and implementation of The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) , Mozilla plans on applying the changes to all users.

Californians now have the right to know what personal information is being collected, to access it, to update and correct it, to delete it, to know who their data is being shared with, and to opt-out of the sale of their data.

Mozilla will now even allow users to delete telemetry data collected to improve performance.

The company similarly rolled out new privacy policies following the implementation of GDPR in Europe.
